Prague is the capital city and largest city of the Czech Republic and one of the largest cities of Central Europe. It served as the capital of the historic region of Bohemia for centuries. The city is situated about the Vltava River. Prague is known as "The City of Thousand Spires" because of its bridges, cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and church domes. Personally, Prague is one of my favorite destinations and I highly recommend this charming city to anyone that likes a good taste of the medieval period with a kick of fresh and vibrant atmosphere.
