Chengdu is the capital of China's Sichuan province. It is one of the three most populous cities in Western China (the other two are Chongqing and Xi'an). Chengdu has a reputation of being a very "chilled" and "relaxed" prosperous city in China. I was told that people in Chengdu are so calm that in the recent major flood they would play Mahjong standing! Chengdu is known to be cloudy most of the time but I absolutely adore this city. It's definitely one of my favorite cities in China!
